An alumni of St Peter's College Oxford suggested I paint this view of the college from the elevated view afforded by climbing the Oxford Castle mound. I was only too pleased to give it a try and particularly enjoyed rendering the mix of old and new architecture and the spires in the distance.

Commission
The second of two commissions by a cat-loving client. This one was trickier than Rusty, mainly because I had to paint four cats rather than one, and much smaller! A clowder is the collective noun for a group of cats in case you were wondering.
It was pleasure to be asked to paint this lovely tabby cat by a client from a photo she provided me with. I love the way I was able to portray Rusty in one of her favourite spots - nestled in a plant pot surrounded by grass.
I was very pleased to accept a commission to paint this beautiful old dog, the main challenge being to catch the glimmer in her eyes.
